Meet 8 month old Oreo, he is a springer spaniel x labrador, he is house trained although when excited will have a little dribble but will let you know when he needs the toilet, he goes out 3-4 times a day as he needs excercise and stimulation with his breed as he is very springy, he is trained to sit, give paw, speak, fetch, good off the lead in open fields ect I don't know how he is off the lead on the street as never tried it. I've had him for 3 months now and he's the best dog in every way this is a genuine honest ad and I'm just being as transparent as I can so that he goes to the right home. He has not been castrated as the vets advised with his breed to be 12 months to go ahead with this, and due to him not being castrated he is displaying very dominant and possessive behaviour with myself the female owner when I push him away or tell him no when he is trying to mount me, he will bark and growl at me and go for me, I do think this behaviour is due to him not being castrated but vets advise not to until he's older but I cannot deal with this behaviour I am now very nervous and on edge around him as I don't know how to redirect this or stop this behaviour. He's great in every other way in the car, his recall, he's playful and so friendly and loves cuddles and kisses and has the funniest personality it's just this one flaw and because he can sense my fear it's now getting worse I do believe he's a man's dog as a man had him before me, he's just a baby and don't know right from wrong yet and has all this testosterone and hormones going through and he don't know how else to react. This is breaking my heart so please no time wasters or offers and homes will be checked, he is microchipped and vaccined, he was at the vet about six weeks ago and vet confirmed he's 8 month old and in perfect health nothing at all wrong with him. He needs an experienced handler and will only go to a five star home!! Cant be viewed with mother as don't have her or father.
