A little bit about me in my own words
I could say so much about myself if only I
thought anyone was listening. Leesa first
spotted me in April of 26’ thinking I was a
senior dog or at least middle aged. She was
surprised to learn I am only 11months old
(approximately) because I wasn’t joining in
like a lot of the other pups. I keep myself to
myself. I don’t hide in a pen and I watch
what’s happening though I am clearly
struggling. I want to keep an eye on what’s
going around me. I don’t react badly, I just
can’t quite bring myself to respond because
bad things obviously happened to me. The
other residents seem to sense that I’m not
in fine fettle & because they are just babies
like me they aren’t very sympathetic to my
needs. Like humans I’ll forget about it all
one day when I’m loved and wanted. I can
flourish with a good hearted home & the gift
of time. The problem is that I’m trapped
within myself within the shelter because it’s
not the right environment for me. The vet
said to leesa that I can’t settle with so much
noise & commotion etc. Leesa said no
puppy should look like this- they should be
jumping around & making a nuisance of
themselves if anything.
I’m only around 10kg & was picked up and
brought here on the 16.4.26.
Sometimes the other pups bully me and in
May 26’ when leesa visited a wee pincher
was ganging up on me and then others
joined in. It was just the normal dynamics of
