A Stunning Young Husky Looking For An Experienced Adult-Only Home ❤️
Meet beautiful Billy — a striking young Husky boy with movie-star looks, a huge personality and that classic intelligent Husky spirit. 🐾
Billy was born on 19 September 2022 and has been loved by the same family since he was a tiny puppy. Sadly, his family have now made the heartbreaking decision to surrender him after some concerning behavioural changes at home. Although Billy had previously been very good with the children in the household, he recently nipped both the son and daughter as he began trying to establish himself as “top dog” within the family environment.
Because of this, Billy is looking for a very specific type of home — one with experienced, confident adult owners who truly understand the Husky breed and are prepared to give him the structure, leadership and mental stimulation he needs. ⚠️

This is not a breed for everybody.
Huskies are incredibly intelligent, energetic, determined and independent dogs. They thrive with routine, adventure, exercise and clear boundaries. In the wrong hands they can become frustrated, stubborn and challenging — but in the right home, they are loyal, hilarious, affectionate and absolutely extraordinary companions. ❤️

He is neutered, vaccinated and in good health.
Looking at Billy, we suspect he is a fairly well-bred Siberian Husky with all the classic traits of the breed — intelligence, confidence, athleticism and a strong personality. He will need somebody who understands canine behaviour and is willing to continue working with him calmly and consistently.

What Billy truly needs is somebody willing to guide him properly and give him the balanced life he deserves. Underneath that strong personality is still a young dog who needs direction, consistency and understanding. 🐶❤️

Adrian and the team at Friends inDEED have been wonderful. We were able to go meet our dog with her sisters and we were in frequent communication during the adoption, and since with updates etc. We were also provided with some food, and lent a harness & lead to bring her home. She has already been incredibly well trained for a rescue dog as we have had no toilet accidents and she is already wonderful on her lead.

Exceedingly friendly and playful with family and children, showing enduring youthfulness
Highly social and enjoys being in a pack or around other dogs
Adaptable to various environments when given sufficient exercise and mental stimulation
Intelligent and forgiving nature, with low \"doggy\" odour compared to many breeds
Cons
Not recommended for first-time dog owners due to independent temperament and training challenges
Strong prey drive making off-lead recall unreliable around small animals
Known escape artists requiring ultra-secure fencing and supervision outdoors
Can be vocal with frequent howling which may disturb neighbours
