Description

Saffy is a lovely girl, she is happy to be handled and generally a really good feeder (occasionally she strikes a bit too keen and then frightens herself) she sheds beautifully everytime and always has done. She was left in the care of my mum for a while when I moved out before I could get her over to me and in that time Saffy somehow managed to cause a large wound in her side, this has since completely healed over closed without infection and the injury site has been improving with every shed but it is still very obvious where it was and does seem to inflame a bit when she sheds but this has been also improving with each shed. As a result of this she has been on hunger strike and only recently started eating again so she is a bit underweight but she is regularly gaining again. She eats a 20-30g rat weekly currently, frozen/thawed and wet out the heating cup-she isnt at all fussy. She is only available as I dont have the space now to give her a lovely big viv like I had planned to and with 2 young children now, one of which is intent on helping with all of the animals a little too much, I would rather her go somewhere with the space for her to have the size viv she deserves and without an overly excitable toddler wanting to make her his best friend. Her current setup can come with her however it will need upgrading in due course. Photos are from when I got her as a baby in early 2024 so she is a fair bit bigger now but I cant find any good recent ones and she is currently in blue. Happy to discuss more and get other photos for anyone genuinely interested in her
