*Genuine reason for rehoming, please read*
Through absolutely no fault of his own, we have made the heartbreaking decision to re-home our beautiful boy, Nemo, our lovely, pedigree, blenheim Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy.
The reason for needing to re-home Nemo is because sadly, it's becoming apparent that our autistic toddler is scared of dogs and cannot seem to tolerate living with one (Nemo has never done anything/displayed any behaviour that would make a typical toddler/child scared, it's just the way my son reacts due to his autism unfortunately). We obviously must put our son's needs first, which sadly means we must find a new home for our lovely friend.
⭐ Nemo has had a full, extensive Health, Traits & Behavioural DNA test 🧬 (please see photos for health results) clear of 262 genetic health conditions, a carrier of 0 conditions and "at risk" for 1 (refer to photos). DNA test also includes 58 genetic trait tests and ancestry/family tree. More than happy to send over a full copy of the complete results for a better insight into his current/future behavioural traits and overall personality. Makes a very fascinating read!
⭐ Nemo is 9 months old (DOB June 20th 2025).
⭐ He is fully vaccinated (due his first annual booster jab on 04/09/26)
⭐ Microchipped
⭐ Up to date with flea and worm treatment
⭐ Fully toilet trained
⭐ Crate trained
⭐ Basic training such as sit/stay/paw/come (could use a little work on recall but isn't terrible). Walks lovely on a lead.
⭐ Can live with children (we have 3 children aged 9, 6 and 2) and cats (we have 1 cat). Hasn't lived with another dog but don't see any reason why he wouldn't be able to live with another friendly dog. Hasn't ever shown any signs of wariness/nervousness/aggression to any other dog he's met on walks etc or with my mother's 3 dogs.
⭐ A truly wonderful, wonderful dog. Can jump up a little bit when excited/meeting new people as with all puppies, but in general an all-round calm, placid lap-dog
⭐ Originally got him at 9 weeks old from a reputable CKCS breeder in Warwickshire after extensive research of breeders
Nemo will go to his new home with;
⭐ His bed & crate
⭐ Food, water bowl and bowl mat (if wanted)
⭐ Any food left at time of rehoming
⭐ Lead & harness
⭐ Toys
⭐ Brush and nail clippers
⭐ Car boot protector/mat
⭐ Vaccination card
⭐ Any flea/worm treatment we may have
⭐ Travel crate
📍We are in Berkeley, Gloucestershire. More than happy for you to come and see him before committing to rehoming him. Also happy to travel to meet you if travelling is an issue for you.
We are looking for £1100 for Nemo but are open to sensible offers for the right family. (We originally paid £1850 back in September last year). This is to ensure he will be going to someone who is commited to providing Nemo with the forever-home that he deserves. A loving home where he receives the love, attention and care he needs and deserves is obviously paramount to us, so as said above there is possible room for negotiation on price.
If there's anything I may have forgotten to mention or you have any questions about Nemo, do feel free to get in touch. Thank you
