She was badly let down by the people who should have protected her. As a result of the abuse she suffered—possibly involving children—she sadly lost the vision in one eye. Despite everything she has endured, Pearl has never stopped wanting to love and be loved. She is a cheerful, playful and affectionate young girl who enjoys attention, games and exploring her surroundings. Her gentle nature shines through once she feels safe, and she is learning every day that not all people will hurt her. Because of her previous experiences, Pearl is looking for a calm, adult-only home or a family with older, sensible teenagers. A home without young children is essential so she can continue building her confidence in a peaceful environment. She doesn't let the loss of vision in one eye stop her from enjoying life.
