Meet Zeus, a stunning Alaskan Malamute x Chow Chow who has just turned 2 years old. Due to unforeseen circumstances, he is sadly looking for a new home where he can truly thrive.
Unfortunately over the past year Zeus has become a slightly nervous boy when meeting new people and situations, and it takes him a little time to warm up. Also due to work changes he’s become quite upset a does not do well with being home a period of time by himself, he likes being close to people and Because of this, it is unfair to keep him at a home where he can’t thrive and be the happy boy he normally is. he needs a patient and understanding owner who will respect his boundaries and allow him to build trust at his own pace. Once he feels comfortable, he is a big, fluffy softie at heart with so much love to give.
He would definitely best be suited to an individual or couple, ideally with experience in training or familiarity with his breeds, as he can be quite vocal and strong willed at times but as he’s still quite young, he still also has the super playful pup side to him and along with the time and commitment he can over come these things and be the best boy! A home with older teenage children may be considered, as long as they understand and respect his need for space while he settles in.
Zeus would benefit greatly from someone willing to put in the time, effort, and consistency to help build his confidence and bring him out of his shell. In the right home, he has the potential to become an incredibly loyal and loving companion.
