🐾 Meet our three beautiful 8-month-old Dachshund puppies: Thor and Monty, two gorgeous dapple boys 💙💙, and Coco, a beautiful black & tan girl ❤️.
Their arrival with us was rather upsetting to see. All THREE were packed into one small, completely bare crate. No blanket. No puppy pad. Nothing to comfort them. They were covered in poo and shivering. Nothing came with them — no beds, food, toys or even collars. NOTHING. 💔
But that was yesterday. Today they are clean, warm and safe in three different foster homes — and now we want to concentrate on their futures. ❤️

💔 Surrender Story
According to their former family, the puppies had been with them since February after being obtained through private seller. They lived in a one bedroom flat and were surrendered to our Rescue because of being ill and also expecting a baby. They didn't want to sell them and our Rescue been recommended so we stepped in. We are grateful that family decided to Surrender them to Rescue and not sell them on Facebook. Do we have questions about how three young daschunds ended up together in one? Yes. But it doesn't matter now. They are SAFE. ❤️ Three puppies, three foster homes — and hopefully three wonderful futures ahead. 🐶🏡
🐾 Three Puppies – Three Homes
Thor, Monty and Coco will be rehomed SEPARATELY.
All three are very human-oriented, loving and affectionate. They adore kisses, attention and being close to people. They are active, curious, playful and unmistakably Dachshunds — endless charm packed into little bodies with VERY big personalities. 😄❤️
They are good with other dogs and would benefit from a friendly, playful, well-balanced canine companion who is genuinely happy to share their toys, sofa and humans.
For Coco, we would particularly prefer a larger, calm, friendly and patient dog. She can be more fearful and defensive around small dogs, while with larger friendly dogs she is much softer and more submissive.
We can absolutely consider them going as the only dog in a right home.
🌱 And Then They Discovered GRASS...
Sadly, it appears these puppies have never been properly walked or given normal outdoor experiences. They accept a harness and lead with no issues, so they may have been taken outside occasionally — but perhaps only onto a hard-surfaced yard.
When they were let into a grassy garden yesterday, their reaction said everything. They ran, sniffed, played and investigated the grass as though they simply couldn't believe such a wonderful thing existed. 🌱🐶❤️
They have also had no proper house-training, so their new families need to be prepared for puppy toilet training from the beginning. Paws Help will provide guidance and supportive materials.
A house with a secure grassy garden is essential and will help with housetraining. Especially during the first couple of weeks, easy and if possible permanent garden access will make establishing good toilet habits much easier.
🏡 Ideal Homes
We are looking for THREE committed families who understand that these are beautiful, loving puppies — but they are puppies who have missed some important early-life experiences.
They need patience, routine, positive training, human companionship and opportunities to discover the world at a sensible pace.
And in return? You get a loving, kissy, playful little Dachshund who is only just beginning to discover how wonderful life can be. 💙❤️
🩺 Health Information
Thor, Monty and Coco are not yet neutered/spayed. Because Dachshunds are particularly vulnerable to IVDD and there is scientific evidence linking very early neutering with significantly increased IVDD risk, we do not want to rush surgery at only 8 months old, it is suggested in at 12- 18 months old as earliest. A neutering/spaying agreement will apply. This will be the adopter's responsibility, with Paws Help happy to contribute towards the cost, and proof of completion will be required.
Vaccination history is not clear at the moment and rescue will cover it if needed.
