Description
I’m posting this on behalf of a friend who has made the very difficult decision to find a new home for Willow due to a significant change in family circumstances.
My friend is currently a single mum to two young daughters, expecting another baby, and spending a lot of time in and out of hospital with her eldest child. As a result, Willow is unfortunately being left alone for longer periods than anyone would like. She’s currently crate trained and coping well, but with overnight hospital stays becoming more common, it’s clear that finding her a home where she can get the time and attention she deserves is the best option for her.
Willow is a lovely girl with a very gentle nature. She’s great with children and babies, affectionate, and well trained. She can be a little cheeky at times and likes to test boundaries now and then, but she’s an easy dog to love.
She can be a bit nervous around loud noises or being shouted at, so she’d suit a calm and patient home. She hasn’t been around cats, and it’s been quite a while since she’s spent time around other dogs, so any introductions would need to be done sensibly.
Willow will come with her crate, bowls, leads, toys, and all of her belongings, so there’ll be no need to buy anything for her straight away.
We’re hoping to find someone with dog experience, ideally with whippets, lurchers, or greyhounds, who can give her the attention and stability she deserves.
If you think you could offer Willow a suitable home, please get in touch. Collection would need to be arranged around hospital commitments, or through myself if I’m available to help.
