Description
Merlin is a superb Welsh Collie who has recently turned 1. He has been amazing with basic training and is house and crate trained. He enjoys his excersise and will certainly keep you fit, loves a game of fetch and his recall is about 95% reliable, (he is currently back on a Longline due to being a little over freindly with other dogs). Merlin pretty much loves anyone and every dog he meets and hasn't had any alterations with either but he really could do with the snip before humping turns into a habit.
So why am I rehoming him you may ask.....unfortunately Merlin has taken an extreme dislike to my partner(male) and while he hasn't shown aggression in any other way we are now facing an impass. Just to be clear he is not resource guarding me and is generally very happy go lucky.
Merlin will resource guard his food and while he is fine with me I would not currently trust him with children or my partner, he is currently scatter fed by me in the morning and in his crate for his evening meal. Please do not enquire if you have children under secondary school age, Merlin is quite large with still some growing left to do and he is quite boisterous when excited. A collie experienced home would be preferred and he will excel at any 'job' or 'sport' he is given. Im devastated to have to make the decision to rehome.
