Sadly, we are looking to rehome our 2-year-old male Rottweiler because our circumstances have changed and we no longer have the time he needs and deserves. His name is George. George is a loving, loyal and affectionate boy who is good with children and has never bitten anyone. He is microchipped, fully vaccinated and not neutered. He is house-trained however he does like to mark with his scent, so this is something his new owner will need to continue working on with patience and consistency. Unfortunately, because he hasn’t been getting enough exercise, stimulation and time around people recently, he has become nervous around strangers. He needs a patient, experienced owner who is willing to give him time and gradually rebuild his confidence. He is not suitable to live with other male dogs or animals, so he would need to be the only pet in the household. We are looking for someone with experience of Rottweilers or other large, powerful breeds who can provide him with plenty of exercise, training, mental stimulation and one-to-one attention. He is a lovely dog who deserves a home where someone has the time and commitment to bring out the best in him. We want to be completely honest about his needs because finding the right home is much more important to us than finding the quickest home. Experienced homes only, please. Sensible supervision around children and responsible handling are essential due to his size and strength.
