Meet Albert, a beautiful boy just over 3 years old, currently based in the UK and ready to find his perfect forever home.
Albert is an incredibly loving and gentle soul once he builds trust. He has the sweetest little quirks—he absolutely adores having the inside of his back leg tickled, and once he feels safe with you, he’ll happily roll over for tummy rubs too. His idea of heaven is being snuggled up under a blanket with his person or having a fun run around the dog park.
He’s sociable with other dogs, particularly those smaller than him, and seems to have a real soft spot for cockerpoos and cocker spaniels. He is friendly with smaller dogs but can feel a little unsure around larger ones, so he benefits from reassurance and a patient approach while he builds confidence.
Albert is generally relaxed around cats—he may be curious about what they’re up to, but he mostly minds his own business. He also travels well in the car and will happily settle in the footwell or boot for journeys.
He likes children, but due to his slightly playful, occasionally “mouthy” nature and his tendency to forget just how long his legs are, a home with older, dog-savvy children would be ideal.
Albert would thrive in a fairly quiet home, ideally with another confident dog to help guide him. He loves comfort, so plenty of cosy beds and blankets are a must! He is happy being left for short periods, as long as he has somewhere warm to snooze—though you might find he’s collected a shoe or two for comfort while you’re away.
Albert truly deserves a home where he can feel safe, loved, and understood. With consistency, patience, and plenty of affection, he will become your most loyal companion and constant shadow.
