Meet Nova, our beautiful 6-month-old Scott American Bulldog cross. It breaks our hearts to say this, but we are looking to find Nova the right forever home.
Nova had a difficult start in life and was sadly neglected as a very young puppy before we took her in. We truly hoped we could be her forever home, but due to her past and the fact we already have another dog, she hasn’t been able to fully settle. She often feels on edge and struggles to relax, and we want what’s best for both Nova and our other dog.
We believe Nova would thrive best as the only dog in the home. We also have cats, and she is fine with them — she simply tries to play! As a high-energy breed, Nova can be bouncy and excitable when she’s full of energy, so she may be better suited to a home without very young children.
Nova has never shown aggression towards people or animals. She is a truly lovely, affectionate girl who bonds deeply once she learns to trust you. She’s always excited to see you, loves being involved in whatever you’re doing, and happily curls up beside you once she’s tired herself out.
She would suit someone who has the time and commitment to continue her training and provide plenty of exercise. Nova already knows:

She has been raised in a busy household with two young children and an adult with a disability, so she is used to a lively environment.
Nova will come with her crate, lead, collar, and some of her favourite toys. We are open to discussing the price, as our priority is finding her a loving home that can give her the care, time, and stability she deserves.
