Description
Unfortunately I’m having to rehome my beloved small community of fish due to pregnancy and wishing the best lift for them. We have a peach dragon betta (female) who gets along well with the other fish, three otocinclus, 5 amano shrimp and several ramshorn snails.
We have had this set up since early February with no health issues or water issues. The fish are all well, although the betta has some nipped fins which are not affected by fin rot and are being treated (Epsom salt and methylene blue baths).
The only reason that I am rehoming is because I want the best for them and with us finding out we are having a baby we do not have the room to upgrade their tank, and I do not want them to suffer any neglect when the baby arrives. They have been well looked after although I am new to fish keeping and I think someone else may be able to give them more than I can.
The tank is a 30L tetra starter with a suitable new sponge filter, new air pump, a fluval filter (which has been in for a month alongside the sponge filter as it was able to filter the water better), LOTS of plants, a suitable new heater, a new but not very powerful light, decor, fish food (atissons betta), small net, water change jug and vacuum pump, plant fertiliser, methylene blue, water conditioner, etc. we can half drain the tank before collection but it really had pretty much everything you need to go.
