BREED: Staffordshire Bull Terrier × Labrador Retriever × Shar Pei (Short: Staffie × Lab × Shar Pei) AGE: 1 year old (turning 2 in October) ABOUT HIM: - Strong, medium‑large build, short coat - Very loving, loyal, loves cuddles and being close to people - High energy when playing, calm and gentle when rested - House trained, good on lead (still learning not to pull) - Was kept locked in a cage before; now learning the world and freedom - Curious around cats, wants to play —being introduced slowly and carefully - Protective of his family, hates arguments - Healthy, fully vaccinated, microchipped, flea/wormed up to date REASON FOR REHOMING: “I took him in to save him after he had been kept locked in a cage and passed between homes quickly. He is a very loving, loyal, gentle dog he just needs more experience, training, and space than I can give right now. I have young children and small kittens; he is curious and playful with them, and I do not have the skills or resources to introduce them properly or give him the steady routine he needs. I am low‑income and already caring for several rescue cats; I cannot give him the time, training, and safe environment he deserves. I want him to go to a home that understands his background, has experience with his breed type, and can give him the patience and training he needs to be his very best self. This is not because he is a bad dog it is because I want him to have the perfect home he never had.”
