Rosie is a much-loved pony I have owned for almost 3 years, and she has proven herself to be a fun and capable little all-rounder in the right home.
On the ground she is very easy to handle – she leads, ties, picks up all feet, and is a pleasure to have around the yard. She is affectionate and enjoys attention once she bonds with her person.
In the school Rosie has three good paces and enjoys her jumping. She has been ridden over poles and small fences and has also been ridden tackless in the school. She enjoys her work when kept in a consistent routine. She has attended a dressage outing where she loaded and behaved very well.
Rosie can be a sensitive mare who benefits from consistency and regular work. She can occasionally become a little sharp or opinionated if out of routine, but settles well when kept in a structured programme.
She enjoys working alongside other horses for confidence, but can also be ridden alone.
Rosie is currently an arena-based horse and does not hack, so would suit a home happy to enjoy her in school and jumping work, or someone experienced who may wish to reintroduce hacking in the future.
She would suit a knowledgeable and patient home looking for a fun low-level all-rounder to enjoy and continue producing.
Not a novice ride – would suit a confident and capable rider. Could suit a knowledgeable first or second pony home with support.
