Description

We have had Gaston for around 3 months but we also have an Alexandrian parakeet named Charlie, he has been with us for 13 year's and he really isn't happy about having Gaston around. We were hoping he would settle with his new friend around but he is just too stressed out by him so sadly this decision is based on Charlie's welfare. Gaston is a hilarious little guy, takes food from your hand, he was climbing on my hand and happy to chill out but the more stressed out charlie has been, Gaston has been more happy to stay on his perch and interact with us rather than my hand but I have no doubt in a more settled environment that he will come back out of his shell. Our good friend is an expert bird handler flying hawks and eagles and has said to restrict his food and he will start coming on to our hand again but they are both a little stressed together in the same house so I haven't done this. Hes happy to come right up to you when you go near him, hes a really sweet guy and would thrive away from Charlie. Gaston comes with his full setup.
