Hector – 12.2hh Welsh Type Gelding – 5 years old
Listed as Welsh Section B type, however he is not registered and we believe he is a cross.
This is a genuine and honest sale of a much-loved pony.
We first met Hector around 3 years ago when my daughter rode him at a riding school. She then loaned him, and we bought him just over a year ago as she absolutely adored him. Unfortunately, she has now outgrown him.
Hector is a kind pony with a lovely temperament. He is good to handle and has previously been used in a riding school environment. He has previously been ridden by children. He can walk, trot, canter and pop a jump.
Due to not being in consistent work over the past 6 months and limited turnout over winter, he is currently a little green and can test boundaries at times, so would benefit from a confident child or small rider to bring him back into regular work.
He is still young at 5 and has plenty of potential in the right home. With consistency and time, I believe he will come back into being a fantastic child’s pony.
He would suit a knowledgeable family looking for a pony to bring on and make their own.
This is a very sad sale, but he deserves more time and attention than we can currently give him.
