Description
Demi is a Large size Female dog that was found on the streets of Romania. Demi is a submissive dog by nature and is very gentle. Demi is microchipped, vaccinated and neutered.
Demi has shown discomfort in her hip area and has been on pain relief. She may need vet visits if this issue continues and the Rescue will cover the costs associated with what the vet recommends for the hips.
Behaviour & Temperament Summary – Demi
General Temperament
Demi is described as a friendly, calm, and gentle dog with a submissive streak. When approached in her kennel, she will either greet the person or roll onto her back, which is typical appeasement behaviour indicating she is non-confrontational and seeks reassurance from humans.
There have been no recorded incidents of aggression, including:
No biting
No growling at people
No resource or food guarding
This suggests Demi has a very low conflict threshold with humans and appears comfortable with handling.
Handling & Equipment
Demi accepts:

However, putting them on can be slightly difficult because she rolls onto her back, again likely due to submissive behaviour rather than avoidance or fear.
Once equipped, she walks nicely on the lead.
