We are very happy to share that after being rescued both boys are now doing beautifully in a wonderful foster home — and they are READY FOR ADOPTION! 🥰
*Adoption fee for both is £700, which is £350 each — a reduced fee for the pair. We understand that £700 may sound like a lot, but it covers only around half of the costs the rescue has already paid for their care. Both boys have now been neutered and have also received much-needed dental treatment. ❤️🐾
We now believe Armani's incredibly low weight of just 1.4 kg wasn't his normal healthy weight. He had significant dental problems, was in pain and couldn't eat properly. His mouth has now been treated, he is recovering well, and hopefully those tiny bones will soon have a little more Chihuahua padding! ❤️
Their foster describes them as "gentle, loving, friendly and very sweet-natured dogs."
And their bond is truly something special. Armani always needs to know where Gucci is. They look out for each other on walks, stay close and take enormous comfort from simply knowing the other is there. These two little gentlemen belong together. 💙💙

Both boys are approximately 5 years old.

🐾 More About Them
The boys are quiet and easy around the house, sleep well overnight and generally only bark when somebody knocks. They are mostly house-trained, although terrible Chihuahua weather 🌧️ can occasionally result in an indoor accident!
They absolutely love other dogs and socialise beautifully. They aren't bothered by traffic and don't chase wildlife. Their foster also has a Bearded Dragon, and both boys are completely unfazed by it. Armani enjoys walks but, being so incredibly tiny, eventually gets tired and needs to be carried: requires his personal human taxi. 😄
Both are beautifully behaved around food with no guarding, snatching or rivalry. They can be fussy eaters, but freshly cooked chicken receives enthusiastic approval!
There is one important thing to know about Armani: when sleeping on or beside his person, he can guard them if somebody approaches closely or tries to touch them. For this reason, the boys need an adult-only home with people experienced with Chihuahuas and their typical behaviours.
🏡 Ideal Home
A loving, adult-only Chihuahua-experienced home with a very secure private garden.
They could happily live with friendly dogs. A cat may be possible with careful management, although Armani sometimes finds chasing rather interesting!
Most importantly, these boys MUST remain together. 💙💙
💞 Their emergency is behind them. They are neutered, their dental treatment is done, and they are settled and happy in foster. Now we just need to find the family who will look at these two tiny faces and say: “Both of you. You're coming home.” 🥰
🩺 Health Information
Both are neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and have recently received dental treatment. Armani was extremely underweight, likely partly due to his painful dental problems, so his weight continues to be monitored.
