Description
Meet our litter of gorgeous border collie pups! We have 6 still available, 3 black and white boys and 3 white/speckled/grey girls. They will be ready to go from the week beginning Monday 13th April. We have always kept our pups for 10 to 12 weeks before selling as they get just that bit more essential time learning from mum and each other. They will all have medium to long fluffy coats.
These puppies have been well socialised with many visitors young and older. They have met cats, ducks, and our other family dogs. They spend most of their time in the front garden where they can watch and hear lots of new sounds, and they do manage to do most of their toileting out there too!
The mother, Fig, is a family pet kept from one of our previous litters out of Scout, who is from working parents in North Wales, and Ben, a working dog in Mid Wales. Fig is a lovely girl, adores people and learns fast – she very quickly took to herding our little flock of ducks – though has high energy and intensity, only a little of which is shaved off by long beach runs! She can also be a gentle sweetheart too, and is very chill in her usual routine. Scout has always been a lot calmer and when younger needed lots of jobs to do, making her a breeze to train. Both Fig and Scout will be seen with the pups.
The father is 'Mr Dog', also a family pet, from a farm in West Yorkshire, chosen for his good nature and beautiful speckled features.
Our previous puppies have gone all over the country to all kinds of homes from families to farms, mostly to repeat border collie owners though we also welcome owners new to the breed who are ready for a high-activity lifestyle and lots of training.
The pups have will have been vet checked and have received microchips, first injections (second injection to be administered by your vet at 12 weeks old, puppies sold after 12 weeks will have had this one too), regular worming, and flea treatment. We will also include a little 'puppy pack' to ease settling in to their new homes containing some of their food, a bowl, and some bedding and a towel.
