Description
From the moment you meet her, Thea’s sweetness shines through. She’s calm, kind, and quietly affectionate — the kind of companion who doesn’t demand attention but melts into your side the moment she knows she’s safe. Once you’ve earned her trust (which doesn’t take much beyond a gentle touch and a kind voice), she’ll happily soak up cuddles from anyone willing to give them.
Thea is beautifully mannered in the home. She’s fully house trained, sleeps peacefully through the night (crate optional!), and can be left alone for a few hours without any fuss. She’s not destructive, not noisy, and not demanding — just content to potter about and then settle down nearby, keeping you company with her calm presence.
Out and about, she’s a joy to walk. She moves at an easy, unhurried pace, walking politely on the lead with no pulling. While traffic can still make her a little unsure, she’s improving every day with gentle encouragement. She greets other dogs politely and, once she feels comfortable, may even enjoy a little play. With her medium-to-low energy levels, she’d be just as happy on a relaxed stroll as she would be curled up beside you at a cosy café or pub, quietly taking in the world (and maybe accepting a sausage or two!).
She’s learning about toys and play, and while she doesn’t quite know all the rules yet, she’s eager and responsive. A little gentle guidance is all she needs — she’s naturally obedient, takes treats delicately, and already knows to sit and wait politely for her meals.
Thea is wonderfully tolerant and easy to handle, with no guarding behaviours and very little barking. She shows a sweet curiosity toward children and would love a home with calm, respectful older children who can match her gentle nature.
At her core, Thea is a dog who has discovered kindness and is learning to trust it. She doesn’t ask for much — just a safe home, patient people, and a little love. In return, she’ll give you quiet companionship, loyalty, and a warmth that fills a room without ever making a fuss.
Thea would thrive in a calm home — with a single person, couple, or family with children over 12. She may prefer to be the only dog, as she enjoys having her safe space, and a quieter area without heavy traffic would help her continue to build confidence.
If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who will be by your side through life’s quiet moments, Thea might just be the one you’ve been waiting for. ❤️
