Description
Our lovely and super handsome boy ‘Bruno’ is for sale. He’s such a wonderful dog, great with children but can be jumpy, gets on well with all our other dogs. Always so happy to see you. Good with livestock. He’s been around horses and donkeys too, ignores the poultry and ducks wandering about on the farm. Loves to play ball or retrieve a dummy. Can follow a quad bike for miles and loves long walks, great off the lead, fantastic on a slip lead, walks to heel. Sits on command and will wait for his food.
Very sad sale as we are licensed breeders and limited to numbers of dogs we can have. He failed his recent eye test, so can no longer be used as our stud dog. Doesn’t affect him in any way at the moment and the examiner who looked at his eyes said he would probably never affect him, if it does it will be later in life, but there was a possibility he could pass vision issues onto his pups. Happy to share further information on this to any new potential owner.
He’s KC registered which I will be happy to show the new owners all the certificates but I don’t want him used for breeding so he’s now been castrated.
He’s always lived in kennels but fairly clean in them and much prefers to go out to toilet. Wouldn’t take much time to house train. Always lived with another dog, does prefer bitches but lives with an entire male currently.
Looking for a perfect home for him where he will be loved and well cared for for the rest of his days. He’s just a young dog and full of energy so would suit a family or couple looking for this. He’s been around shooters but never been used as a gun dog, not gun shy though when they have been and retrieves a dummy well. He will need an active family and a house with a garden or a small holding/farm would be even better. He would love to live either with human company most of the time or with another dog and although he tolerates our other males he particularly loves the ladies (even the spayed ones) and plays great with them.
We just want the best for our boy, we have had him since he was 10 weeks old and he’s such a big part of our lives but if we can find the right home I know it would be best for him too. If we can’t find the perfect home he will be staying here.
