It is with an incredibly heavy heart that we offer our much-loved 17hh, 8-year-old Thoroughbred mare for sale. This is a genuine and very difficult decision, so finding her the right long-term home is far more important to us than a quick sale.
She is a beautiful, kind and affectionate mare who loves attention and has so much to offer the right rider.
She is an established all-rounder who schools well on the flat with three balanced paces and has shown lovely potential for dressage. Before her surgery she happily jumped 80cm with us and showed scope to progress to 1m and beyond with a confident rider.
She hacks happily both alone and in company, enjoys getting out and about and is a genuine pleasure to hack.
She is not suitable for a novice rider. She is a forward-going mare who takes confidence from her rider and responds well to calm, confident and consistent riding. In canter she can become quicker if her rider lacks confidence, but with an experienced rider she is responsive, enjoyable and eager to please.
She is an ex-racehorse who has adapted well to her life after racing.
In 2025 she underwent kissing spine surgery. She has made an excellent recovery, completed her rehabilitation and is now back in full work with no problems since her operation. She is schooling beautifully on the flat. We have deliberately taken a careful approach to her rehabilitation, so she has not been jumped since her surgery. She is now ready for someone to continue her education and reintroduce jumping when they feel the time is right. Her veterinary history will be discussed openly with genuine buyers.
She is:

• Up to date with vaccinations, worming and routine care.
• Currently shod in front only.
• Currently turned out on her own but also loves to be with a herd, is happy to socialise and enjoys the company of other horses.
She would make a fantastic Riding Club horse, dressage prospect, all-rounder or partner for someone looking to continue producing a talented mare with plenty of ability.
This mare owes us absolutely nothing and has been given every opportunity to recover and thrive. She is now looking for an experienced, loving home where she can continue to enjoy her work and reach her full potential.
