Description

It is extremely difficult and upsetting for me to have to find a new home for my two lovely dogs. Lola is a 5 year old blue Staffordshire terrier (DOB 01/03/2021) She's wary of strangers but once she gets to know you she's a wonderful companion. Always happy to have cuddles on the sofa. She's also prone to ear infections which can be managed with steroids from the vet. Kyra is a nearly 2 year old black labradoodle (DOB 27/09/2024) she's a very bouncy and energetic puppy. She's a very vocal and excitable girl who loves to follow me around wherever I go. The reason I have to find them new homes is extremely distressing for me as it's due to neighbours complaints regarding their barking. Both girls are vocal and bark when people walk past the house, this has stopped when I go to work and they are in the house together especially since I applied frosting film to my windows so they can't see people going past. However when I'm out in the garden hanging washing, mowing the lawn and general gardening activities. Lola will sit and sunbathe and Kyra loves to do zoomies around the garden but when someone walks past they go to the fence and bark until they have gone. They also react when neighbouring dogs are barking or walking by. I was trimming my hedges and because I wasn't near them, though they could see me, Kyra especially barked on and off consistently causing the neighbours opposite me to complain and want me to lock them in the house. They have made numerous complaints to the housing association and if I have any more complaints then I am likely to be evicted. So I must find them new homes. They can be rehomed separately. This is breaking my heart and not what I want to do, but I am being victimised (by the neighbours, who also have a dog) and feel like I have no choice. They only complain about my dogs and not about other dogs that bark in the area of which there are a few, but mine are the ones they target to complain about. They are my lifeline my reason to get up each day since I was forced to relocate for my safety due to coercive control and domestic abuse. My girls are very loving and affectionate and will make amazing companions for the right family. They will come with whatever food I have left for them which I buy in bulk with S&S as well as bowls, snacks, toys etc. I want the very best for them and I will miss them immensely, this is going to break me and I know my mental health will deteriorate so I'm hoping for a new home with someone who can understand my situation and will give them a good home. I’ve put a price on which is a guide, however I'm not worried about the money, it's more important to me that they have the right new home for them. So this is very negotiable.
