Once relaxed, he is beautifully playful, stays connected with his person and is completely non-reactive to dogs passing by." We honestly can't understand why nobody has come for this beautiful boy yet. 🐾 Meet Marco Marco is around 1 year old, a lower-medium/medium boy with the sweetest, most affectionate nature. Thankfully, they were rescued in time, and Marco grew into the wonderful young dog he is today. Sadly, after arriving in the UK, his first home wasn't the right match for him. Thanks to one of our experienced foster carers, he has had the time and understanding every rescue dog deserves—and the transformation has been remarkable. 🐾 More About Marco Marco absolutely adores his people. Praise, cuddles and simply being together are what make him happiest. He has a wonderfully soft nature and genuinely wants to please. He loves woodland walks, sniffing every interesting smell, playing with his toys and carrying his ball around proudly. He is fully house-trained, sleeps well through the night and has recovered beautifully after a tummy infection shortly after arriving in the UK. His foster says his confidence has grown enormously. He's becoming more curious about people every day and enjoys meeting new faces when allowed to approach at his own pace. Like many sensitive dogs, he appreciates gentle introductions rather than people rushing straight in to stroke him. Marco absolutely thrives with canine companionship and has shown just how much he enjoys sharing life with another balanced, friendly dog. We believe a calm resident female would make him incredibly happy. That said, his foster also feels Marco could flourish as an only dog, provided his family are around most of the time and can give him plenty of companionship, enrichment and opportunities to meet dog friends on walks. 🏡 Ideal Home Marco is looking for a calm, loving home where he can continue growing in confidence. He would love people who enjoy walks, adventures and spending time together, without expecting him to become the life and soul of every busy gathering overnight.
