With a very heavy heart I have made the decision to rehome Ellie due to her and my other female not getting along. Ellie is a 3 year old Sharpei cross. Ellie is a nervous dog, she is friendly with people. Ellie is spade. Ellie is very anxious around roads/cars/trucks/bikes and when she gets scared she pulls on the lead to go back home. I drive her to the field daily to avoid her getting stressed out by traffic, she’s been like this since going missing for 4 days at 8 months old and she found her way back home but has been scared of the big world since. The field is her happy place chasing a ball or frisbee. Ellie needs a garden to run around in. Ellie is very strong on the lead and can pull so she needs an experienced dog owner that can do some on lead training with her. Ellie resource guards her food and bed and this is what is causing the issue with my other dogs. Ellie needs to be the only dog in the home and no young children and no cats. Ellie can be a little nervous when meeting new people but warms up to them quickly. Ellie isn’t a cuddly dog, she sits by you always and follows you around. Ellie would suit a rural home in a quiet place with somewhere she can run around. I will only allow her to go to a good home.
