✨ A LITTLE UPDATE ON LOUIE ✨
We’re so happy to say that Louie is now safely in foster and doing brilliantly! His foster family say he has a big appetite and gaining weight well, absolutely loves his walks and his recall is really improving. 🐾
Most importantly, Louie is proving what an absolute sweetheart he is. He’s an easy, loving and affectionate little dog who just needs some time to settle and build his confidence. ❤️
🐾 ABOUT LOUIE
Louie is an almost 2-year-old Cavapoo, approx. 5kg.

• 🏠 House-trained
• 🩺 Pelvis healed following a previous hit-and-run
💔 LOUIE’S STORY
Louie’s story has been a difficult one. He was previously rehomed to a friend, but escaped from that home and was sadly involved in a hit-and-run, suffering a fractured pelvis. Thankfully, he has recovered well and can now walk and toilet normally.
After returning to his original owner, Louie was then being left alone for the whole working day while his owner worked full-time.
Louie became incredibly distressed when left. He would howl and wait for his person to return, and despite having food available, he was so anxious that he simply wouldn’t eat. Over time, this caused him to become significantly underweight.
Thankfully, he is now in foster, where he has company and a predictable routine — and his appetite is fantastic! 🍽️💙
🏡 FOSTER-TO-ADOPT HOME NEEDED
Louie is currently not being left alone in foster as we have a dog sitter helping to make sure he has company while he settles.
His new family will need to understand that being left alone will need to be introduced gradually. Someone who works from home or is around for most of the day would be ideal.
🐶 We would also love Louie to have another friendly, confident dog in his new home. He absolutely loves canine company and having another dog around helps him feel more secure and confident.
Louie really is an absolute sweetheart. He doesn’t need someone to fix him — he simply needs company, patience, stability and time to adjust. ❤️
