Quick Facts** - Breed: Black Labrador Shar Pei cross (owner reported) - Age: Approximately 1½ years old - High energy needs (45 minute walks 2x daily and daily play needed) - Will require some training for pulling on lead Shadow is exactly what you'd expect from a young dog who is full of life. She's fun, affectionate and always on the move, whether she's racing around the house, watching the world go by from the window or following her favourite people from room to room. She loves attention and never wants to miss out on what's happening. People are Shadow's favourite thing. She absolutely adores children and adults alike, greeting everyone with excitement before settling down once she's said hello. If someone else is getting cuddles, she'll happily squeeze her way in by tucking her head under your arm to remind you she'd quite like some too. She's happiest when she's part of family life and loves being wherever her people are. Life with Shadow is active and entertaining. She loves chasing balls, carrying teddy toys around and playing games that let her burn off some of her boundless energy. She enjoys getting out for long walks and would thrive with a person or family who enjoys spending time outdoors. She is strong on the lead and can become very excited when she sees people or other dogs, often trying to rush over to say hello, so her new family should be prepared to continue her training. At home she's crate trained, settles well when left (can be left alone for a full work day) and has never had accidents indoors.
