Description

🐾 MILO – A Gentle Soul Looking for His People Date of birth: Estimated January 2025 Adoption code: LEC.MILO His Story Milo was rescued from a public shelter as a very young puppy — a difficult and overwhelming start for such a sensitive little soul (watch video when he was still growing up). Today he is safe in a private shelter, but it is clear that shelter life is not where he truly belongs. Milo is not the kind of dog who pushes himself to the front or constantly seeks attention. He prefers to quietly observe the world around him first, taking everything in at his own pace. And honestly… that is exactly what makes him so special. Type Milo’s unique appearance possibly suggests a charming mix of Dachshund and Terrier-type genetics, perhaps with some Patterdale influence. 📏 Height: estimated around 40–45 cm at the withers ⚖ Weight: approximately 13–15 kg (Exact measurements can still be confirmed upon serious interest.) Appearance & Charm Milo has one of those faces that quietly stays with you. 🖤 A sleek black coat with a soft white chest 🖤 Warm, expressive eyes full of intelligence and sensitivity 🖤 A gentle, thoughtful expression that carefully observes the world around him There is something deeply soulful about him. He does not demand attention — he simply touches your heart in his own quiet way. Character Milo is an intelligent and deeply sensitive young dog. He is not fearful by nature, but rather thoughtful and emotionally aware. He likes to first observe, understand, and feel safe before fully opening up to new people or unfamiliar situations. Rather than rushing headfirst into everything, Milo prefers calm connections and gentle handling. Busy households or loud environments would not make him happy. Milo is looking for people who truly appreciate soft, sensitive dogs like him — people who understand that trust and friendship sometimes need time to grow. He needs humans who will: ✔ respect his pace ✔ offer calm and gentle guidance ✔ appreciate his intelligence and sensitive nature ✔ and allow him to slowly blossom in his own beautiful way And once that trust is there, Milo forms an incredibly special bond. Quietly loyal. Affectionate. Deeply connected to his people. Milo is the kind of dog whose friendship feels earned — and therefore incredibly meaningful. Other Dogs Milo gets along well with other dogs and often feels reassured by their presence, although this is not absolutely necessary if his humans can offer him enough calmness, patience, and emotional security. Ideal Home 🏡 A calm and loving home 🏡 Gentle and patient people 🏡 No very young children 🏡 A securely fenced garden (fully dog-proof) 🏡 People who appreciate sensitive and intelligent dogs Milo is not looking for chaos or constant excitement. He is looking for safety, understanding, softness, and connection. Milo’s Future Milo is still very young and has his whole future ahead of him. What he needs now are people who will truly see him for who he is: A gentle, thoughtful little dog with a sensitive heart and a beautiful mind. Someone out there is going to fall deeply in love with this boy — not because he loudly demands attention, but because of the quiet and beautiful way he gives his trust. And once Milo lets you into his world… you will have a friend for life. 🖤

Adrian and the team at Friends inDEED have been wonderful. We were able to go meet our dog with her sisters and we were in frequent communication during the adoption, and since with updates etc. We were also provided with some food, and lent a harness & lead to bring her home. She has already been incredibly well trained for a rescue dog as we have had no toilet accidents and she is already wonderful on her lead.
