His Story
Milo was rescued from a public shelter as a very young puppy — a difficult and overwhelming start for such a sensitive little soul (watch video when he was still growing up). Today he is safe in a private shelter, but it is clear that shelter life is not where he truly belongs.
Milo is not the kind of dog who pushes himself to the front or constantly seeks attention.
He prefers to quietly observe the world around him first, taking everything in at his own pace.
And honestly… that is exactly what makes him so special.

Milo’s unique appearance possibly suggests a charming mix of Dachshund and Terrier-type genetics, perhaps with some Patterdale influence.

Adrian and the team at Friends inDEED have been wonderful. We were able to go meet our dog with her sisters and we were in frequent communication during the adoption, and since with updates etc. We were also provided with some food, and lent a harness & lead to bring her home. She has already been incredibly well trained for a rescue dog as we have had no toilet accidents and she is already wonderful on her lead.
