Description

Blue is a 4-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier who turns 5 in September. He is a loving, affectionate and loyal dog with people he knows and trusts, and he has so much love to give. Unfortunately, after being attacked by another dog as a puppy, Blue became reactive towards other dogs. He has had professional behavioural training, which made a significant difference, but he will need an experienced owner who understands reactive dogs and is willing to continue managing his needs. Blue also experiences separation anxiety, so he would be happiest in a home where someone is around for most of the day or where any time left alone can be built up gradually. This has been an incredibly difficult decision, but due to a change in circumstances I can no longer provide Blue with the time, consistency and environment he deserves. Blue would be best suited as the only pet in a home with someone experienced, patient and committed to helping him thrive. My priority is finding him the right home where he can live a happy, secure life. I am in no rush and will only consider homes that I feel are the right fit for him.
