Meet Mira ❤️ Female 2 years old Large size Available for adoption Location: Foster home in Cambridgeshire ❤️ Mira is one of those dogs that stays with you. She has had a horrible start in life, she was rescued from Codlea kill shelter in very poor condition. She had been attacked by other dogs and her fur was very matted. Mira was lucky enough to be chosen for a foster home but even then her story has not run smoothly. Unfortunately, she has moved through a couple of foster homes through no fault of her own, but now she is looking for her forever home and you have the opportunity to ensure she will never have to move again. Mira is a large dog but she can be very shy. She prefers to watch from a distance until she feels comfortable enough to approach. She may bark when people arrive but it is not aggressive. Mira is very gentle around children but due to her size we would place her in a family with older children. As she startles easily, calm children who are mindful of this would be most suitable. Mira also enjoys the company of other dogs although she much prefers the company of medium/large sized dogs. She seems uninterested in smaller dogs and cats. Mira is described by her current foster home as “a loveable gentle giant.
