We have assorted chicks that are now 2 days old looking for their new homes. They are from a lovely mix of breeds, so colours, markings and appearances will vary.
🏡 PLEASE NOTE — THESE ARE BABY CHICKS AND HAVE SPECIFIC NEEDS:
🔥 They must have a suitable heat source/brooder to keep them warm.
🌡️ They need the correct temperature, with enough space to move away from the heat when they want to.
🥣 They need good-quality chick crumb available at all times.
💧 They need fresh, clean drinking water in a chick-safe drinker.
🐥 Chicks are social and should not be kept alone — ideally keep them with other chicks of a similar age.
🛡️ They need a safe, clean, dry and secure brooder away from draughts and other animals.
💕 These are only 2 days old, so they need someone who is prepared to provide the care and warmth baby chicks require.
