🐾 URGENT: LOVING HOME NEEDED — HUMPHREY (LARGE DOG) 📍 Location: Oadby / Leicester area 💷 Rehoming fee required — goes towards household repairs and damage costs we have sadly faced. 🐶 About Humphrey He is big, strong, clever and affectionate at heart — but our family life and home environment are no longer the right fit for him. • Size & ability: Large, capable and very smart — knows how to open drawers and work things open; we have had to fit child locks everywhere to keep him safe and out. Highly resourceful and will scavenge if given any chance. • Walking & lead manners: He is very strong on the lead, pulls constantly, and barks/growls frequently while out — takes an owner with real strength, confidence and experience to handle him safely; easily gets excited or reactive as he goes. • Behaviour: Very energetic and easily bored; destructive when confined or unsupervised — damages flooring, furniture and surroundings. He is not bad‑tempered — just too intelligent, strong and full of energy for what we can safely manage here. • Important details: He IS already microchipped — but we do NOT hold or have access to his chip details/paperwork from the previous owner. New owner will need to arrange transfer/lookup themselves. He is healthy, up‑to‑date with flea and worm treatment otherwise. • What he needs: An owner fully experienced with large, clever, strong‑willed dogs, lead handling and reactivity. Needs a very secure home or heavy‑duty outdoor/kennel setup he cannot work his way into or destroy; consistent routine, close supervision and plenty of outlet for his energy — he cannot be left unsupervised. ✅ Rehoming details • Fee applies — to help cover significant costs and repairs from the trouble we have had; amount discussed privately with serious enquiries. • We are fully honest and transparent — no secrets; we only want serious, capable people to come forward. • He comes with nothing apart from his balls/toys. • No references or vet checks required — what matters is that you are confident, capable and ready to offer him the right environment. • Happy to arrange a meeting/handover so you can meet him properly — this is heartbreaking but we are determined he goes to the right safe place 🙏 Please message quickly if you are experienced, prepared and serious about offering Humphrey the life he deserves.
