Description

Toffee and Foxie may have started life in very different ways, but fate brought them together at exactly the right time. Both girls know what it means to overcome hardship, and today they have become the very best of friends, bringing out the best in one another every single day. Toffee (ginger girl) was rescued at just 6 weeks old, suffering from a severe eye infection caused by calicivirus and feline herpesvirus. She was far too small and fragile for surgery, so weeks of treatment came first before she was finally strong enough to have one of her eyes removed. Although she has limited vision in her remaining eye, Toffee has adapted beautifully and doesn't let it slow her down. She approaches life with quiet determination and a gentle heart. Foxie (tabby girl) meanwhile, was trying to survive alone on the streets when she was rescued. Dirty, malnourished, and frightened of the world around her, she had learned to hide from everything. But with love, patience, and security, Foxie has blossomed into the playful, curious little kitten she was always meant to be. Together, they make the perfect pair. Toffee is the calm, affectionate one. She loves gentle fuss, enjoys being close to her people, and has the sweetest, most peaceful nature. Foxie brings the adventure, filling the house with playful energy, curiosity, and endless entertainment as she investigates every new toy, corner, and cardboard box she can find. Despite their different personalities, they share a beautiful bond. They play together, comfort one another, and give each other confidence. Foxie's outgoing nature encourages Toffee to be brave, while Toffee's calm, reassuring presence helps keep Foxie grounded. Watching them together is a lovely reminder that the best friendships are often between those who perfectly balance each other. Both girls are wonderful with other cats, but having found such comfort and companionship in each other, we would love to see them begin the next chapter of their lives together. After everything they've overcome, Toffee and Foxie deserve more than just a home, they deserve a family who will cherish them, celebrate how far they've come, and give them the safe, loving future they've both worked so hard to reach.
