Description
Meet Nova, she is a Dutch herder x German shepherd with current weight of 18.5kg.
Like all shepherds Nova is very intelligent and picks training up really quick. She is create trained and toilet trained. She knows, sit / Zitten (Dutch) , Down / Omlaag (Dutch), Come / Komen (Dutch), Paw, speak, guard, behind (watching behind you), free, wait, eat, up, off. She is slowly getting there with leave and out.
I bought her at 8 weeks old, but due to no fault of her own I unfortunately have to find a new home for her. Due to my relationship sadly coming to an end, I have had to re-locate back to my hometown and move in with family, meaning I now have no stable home for her and no income. So I am currently unable to give her the stability and life she deserves.
I do not own Nova’s mum and dad. Nova’s mum is a Dutch herder, who carries Presa Canario in her blood line this was added to counteract hip dysplasia. Her dad is a German shepherd, who has done his Nasdu 1 and Nasdu 2 with a mild hip dysplasia. With Nova’s mum carrying Presa she will be a big girl, her mum weighs 53kg and her dad is 43Kg, so we expect she will be somewhere around her mums size. From getting her till now, she has been on very steady walks no over doing it. As it’s takes pups a while to develop their cartilage, so I have been very careful with her exercise so that she grows and develops correctly without complications.
She is on a raw diet and eats 3x per day as pups need to eat 10% of their weight. She gets sardines and egg 2-3x per week included with her food. She has raw treats and carrots. Her dad is allergic to chicken and peas, so I avoid these just incase. Her siblings owners have been giving their pups chicken, now and again and they have been fine however I don’t like to risk it.
I am in no rush to rehome Nova, as long as she goes to a 5 ⭐ home like she deserves. Potential owners will be vetted and must have experience with shepherds or big dog breeds. Nova gets on really well with other dogs and loves to play, however I would prefer if she was in an only dog home as she deserves to be the princess of the house. No cats, as she chases them.
