Description
It is with the heaviest heart and a lump in my throat that I am having to make this post.
Our gorgeous 10 year old dog Henry is looking for a new forever home.
We have had Henry since he was 16 months old and never imagined we would be rehoming him.
Unfortunately Henry has got a bit grumpy with old age and we have a 3 year old little boy.
Henry doesn’t have much patience for our son as he gets older and is no longer loving his life with us as much as he once did.
Henry would be an amazing companion for an older person or couple with no children in the house. Henry is good with other dogs but would prefer to be the only dog in the house
Henry is loving, loves a good walk and very loyal.
He is a little bit suspicious by nature and doesn’t like loud bangs or being grabbed/pulled.
As he is an older dog he often snoozes all day but gets very excited for his walkies.
He has still got a lot of energy on walks.
Henry’s breed - German spitz have a life expectancy of around 16 years and he has never had any health issues.
We would love to find Henry a loving home where he can have the time and calm surrounding he requires.
We would need to visit the home Henry goes to and feel that it is the right choice.
We do not want any money for Henry ( we had to put £75 as the minimum price)
All we would are looking for is peace of mind that he is loved and happy in the right setting.
He has been our precious baby for over 8 years and we would just love for someone to love him as much as we do and give him a kind and loving home.
We would love to stay in touch to see how Henry is getting on, we understand that may not be everyone’s ideal. However it really would give us peace of mind to receive updates as regular as someone would love to know he is safe and happy
** we do not want to take him to a rescue centre for rehoming as we feel this would be a traumatising experience for him
