Meet Cooper šŸ¾ Cooper is a handsome young Boxer cross with a huge personality and an even bigger heart. He is incredibly affectionate and thrives on being close to his people. If you're looking for a dog who wants to be involved in every part of your day, Cooper is your boy. He loves cuddles, enjoys relaxing with his family, and is always happy to curl up beside you on the sofa. Cooper is an intelligent, playful dog who enjoys enrichment toys, puzzle games and having something to keep his busy mind occupied. He has a fun, goofy side that makes people laugh every day. Cooper is looking for an experienced home that understands reactive dogs. He can be reactive to other dogs on walks and has recently shown reactivity towards a stranger who approached him closely. For this reason, he will need continued training, careful management and owners who are committed to building his confidence using positive reinforcement. He would be best suited to a calm home with adults or older, dog-savvy children who understand canine body language and will respect his space. He will need slow, controlled introductions to new people and situations. Cooper also experiences separation anxiety and can become distressed when left alone, so he is looking for a home where someone is around for much of the day or where time alone can be built up gradually. Despite these challenges, Cooper has so much love to give. He is loyal, affectionate and forms very strong bonds with his people. He deserves a home that can give him the time, patience and understanding he needs to flourish.
