Description
Hello, this is Meeka. She is 1y 6months old. She is a very sweet natured dog, however since I rehomed her at 5 months old, she has been extremely anxious and nervous around new people, which she showcases by barking at them. She is very loyal and shows a lot of love towards her people. She absolutely LOVES other dogs, she lives with 3 cats and from time to time will chase them but has never hurt them, she purely just loves to play with other animals.
She has a couple of issues, the first being the nervousness around strangers. The second being that she pulls on the lead and has poor recall. She’s a fast learner but she needs consistency that I cannot offer her unfortunately. I have a torn rotator cuff and I simply cannot handle her size. And without training she will just get worse on the lead and I don’t want her to become a hopeless dog. So I would love someone who has ALOT of experience in large breeds (mainly cane corso) and someone who will give her that chance at being the amazing dog she is.
She will be hard work, and with her nervousness I’m more than happy to slowly introduce her to whoever adopts her from me.
This is the saddest decision I’ve ever made and not one I take lightly, I love her very very much, but I just know that she can have better.
