We are investing in the expansion of our BSH golden breeding program and we are looking to introduce new lines in early 2027 so Helios, as magnificent as he has been, is now looking for his family home.
We haven’t decided his future 100% yet, but if the answer comes out of placing this advert, we will know what’s right for him.
We have an extensive DNA profile of Helios and he’s tested clear of PKD, Rabies and ALPS. He’s fully vaccinated and has recently had his 2026 booster. Full anti-parasite treatments. Microchipped.

He perfectly illustrates how, at Vlastar Lux London, we don't simply breed Golden British Shorthairs, rather, we are building a specialist breeding programme dedicated exclusively to preserving and advancing this extraordinary variety.
Our objective is simple: to produce Golden British Shorthairs of exceptional health, temperament and breed type through carefully selected bloodlines, comprehensive health testing, responsible breeding and uncompromising standards of husbandry.
Every decision we make is guided by a long-term vision. We are not simply planning the next litter, we are thoughtfully developing future generations of Golden British Shorthairs that embody the beauty, structure and affectionate nature for which the breed is admired worldwide.
A SPECIALIST PROGRAMME
Unlike many breeders who work with numerous colours and varieties, Vlastar Lux London is devoted exclusively to the Golden British Shorthair.
We believe we are the only UK breeder to have assembled a large and particular portfolio of Golden British Shorthair queens within a single breeding programme (ny 12, ay, 12, nv 12, av 12, ny 12 33).
Through carefully planned pairings, our breeding programme is capable of producing an exceptional range of Golden British Shorthair and Longhair colours and patterns, including Black and Blue Golden Chinchillas, Golden Shaded, Sunshine, Colourpoint and Blue Golden Ticked Tabby kittens. Every mating is planned to complement health, temperament, eye colour, structure and breed type, ensuring that each generation moves the programme forward.
RAISED WITH PURPOSE
Our kittens are born and raised within purpose-designed nursery and play areas where they receive extensive daily interaction and become accustomed to normal household life from an early age.
Experienced husbandry, dedicated accommodation, climate control where appropriate, continuous monitoring and attentive veterinary care enable us to raise multiple litters each year without compromising the individual care every kitten receives.
We believe temperament is every bit as important as appearance, and we take enormous pride in producing kittens that are confident, affectionate and exceptionally well socialised.
