I’m rehoming my 2 male gerbils, they’re about a year old, very friendly but have become more skittish as since I’ve been in hospital I haven’t had enough time for them. They need to go to a loving home that has enough time to bring them back out their shells as they’re so friendly and curious- never bitten or anything even when frightened. They aren’t for small children as they can be quick, would be lovely pets for teenagers (:
The cage is pawhut, 110 x 52 x 101cm.
They’ve been in it about 6 months and have chewed round the sides of the bottom but they won’t chew their way through- gerbils love to chew so they need lots of cardboard and wood in their cage to keep them busy. I’ve put vinyl on the floor and steps but being gerbils, they’ve ripped a lot of it up lol. They need to go with their cage or one of the same size/ bigger. Cage comes with everything in it so: water bottle, wheel, various houses/ coconut hides, sand bath, wood chews etc.
