PLEASE READ IT ALL Charlie – 15-Month-Old Mixed Breed Looking for an Experienced Home/Charity/Rescue Charlie is a friendly, affectionate medium-sized mixed breed who is looking for a new home where he can continue to grow and thrive. He is 15 months old, has no known health issues, and enjoys spending time with his family. Charlie loves attention from people he knows and is a loyal, loving companion at home. He settles well indoors and can be left alone for short periods (around 3–4 hours) after exercise.
Charlie’s main challenge is his behaviour on walks. He becomes highly excited and reactive around other dogs and will pull, lunge, and try to approach them. Despite training efforts and the use of a loop lead, this behaviour has remained difficult to manage. He would benefit from an experienced owner who understands reactive dogs and is willing to continue his training.
Charlie also has a strong chase instinct and should not live with cats or other small animals. He is being rehomed because his needs have become more than our family can manage. As a young, energetic dog, he requires more time, training, and consistent handling than we are able to provide. During one walk, Charlie became overexcited around another dog, knocked my son over, and accidentally nipped his leg while trying to play. He has not shown aggression towards people, but his excitement and strength can be difficult to manage in busy environments.
We believe Charlie would do best in a calm home with experienced owners who can provide structure, training, and regular exercise. In the right environment, he has the potential to be a wonderful companion. Age: 15 months Breed:

On walks: he will pull and growl at other dogs
