A genuine, quality young Connemara with an exceptional temperament and all the attributes to develop into a first-class all-round competition or family pony.
Imported from Clifton Sales, Ireland, Mr Pink was originally purchased for a novice rider progressing from a riding school. Whilst he has proved to be wonderfully kind and straightforward, we feel he would be better suited to a home where his education can continue and his obvious talent can be fully realised.
Mr Pink is a pleasure to have on the yard. He is kind, honest and mannerly both on the ground and under saddle. Although initially a little reserved with new people, he quickly forms a trusting partnership and is an absolute gentleman to handle.
For a five-year-old, he is exceptionally genuine. He has three correct, established paces and schools sweetly on the flat. He is bold and uncomplicated over fences, happily jumping a variety of fillers and natural obstacles without hesitation. He is equally confident hacking alone or in company, is impeccably behaved in open spaces, and remains unfazed in heavy traffic.
He loads, travels and stables impeccably, is barefoot, easy to manage and has no stable or ridden vices. He is clean-limbed, lump and blemish free, and is open to any inspection or veterinary examination. His routine barefoot trim is booked for next week.
Mr Pink is still a young pony and, as expected for his age, remains green in some aspects of his education. He would thrive with a knowledgeable home willing to continue producing him. He has all the ingredients to become a superb Pony Club, Riding Club, show jumping or event prospect, as well as a quality family pony for someone wanting to produce a genuine young horse.
