Description
Reggie is a lovely 10 month old puppy who is an old soul in a young body. She is so mature and clever . She didn’t need any teaching how to have a good recall but from day one she is the best during walks. She never leaves our sights and always stick to us. She is very friendly with dogs and wants to say hi to all dogs and very keen to play with any. She is been with our family since she was 3 months old and been growing up with a large breed dog with her in the same household. She usually keeps the large dog under control and she would be the one who makes the rules between them . She can be a bit jealous and also tries to dominate the large breed at times . She also can guard her food and doesn’t like sharing her treats either with the other dog . She loves sleeping in bed with us and also enjoy cuddles and attention from everyone in the family. She is been around children and is used to the noises and the busy life with travelling in cars aswell. She is a bit nervous and insecure with strangers and is more likely to bark at people who she doesn’t know . She also barks at unusual noises in the garden and during walks . She isn’t letting herself petted easily by strangers but once she knows the person she warms up and enjoy their attention . She is been going weekly for walks in a group of dogs with the dog walker where she used to travel in a cage in the van and is happy to be out and about with them regularly. She is very motivated by food and she loves to eat and receive treats during walks. She isn’t keen on walking with the lead on and is much happier without the lead. She isn’t keen to get into water as such like rivers etc and not keen to get wet when it’s raining outside. She has been regularly going to groomers and been good during sessions. She would have long hair like a Maltese if I didn’t have it cut for her but it’s been easier look after it being short . Reggie is a proper character brings so much joy into our life and who we will miss loads. Sadly there’s an unexpected change in family circumstances which can’t be resolved and requiring rehoming the dogs.
