Description
Hiya. me and my partner are looking to rehome our dog. He is called Ralphy, a jack russell cross dachshund, 2 years old, he is fully vaccinated and microchipped, however he has not been neutered. We have had him since he was 8 weeks old and he is a very loving dog. The reason we are looking to rehome is because recently he has been showing signs of unprovoked aggression and resource guarding. He has never bitten another animal and he does play with other dogs once he gets used to them. He has however bitten me and my partner multiple times causing my disabled father in law to become scared of him, my father in law also has no way of defending himself should ralphy bite him as he is wheelchair reliable. We have had him checked at the vets and they have said he is perfectly healthy and has no underlying health issues would not be suitable around children due to his resource gaurding and his agression normal stems from if he has a tic or is in pain or poorly other than that he is quite a friendly dog he is house trained but does have a few accidents at bedtime etc has been crate trained but hates it so he sleeps in a dog play pen instead he is a very scared nervous dog so needs a lot of behaviour training
