Sadly, we are looking to find a new home for our much-loved female rabbit, Flora. She is a gorgeous Blue Otter Netherland Dwarf.
This is an incredibly difficult decision, but following the recent loss of her bonded male partner, we feel Flora would be much happier living with another rabbit again. She has always lived with a companion, and since losing her friend she has seemed sad and lonely. Unfortunately, with a young baby at home, we don’t currently have the time or capacity to take on another rabbit and go through the bonding process ourselves.
Flora is a healthy, spayed and vaccinated rabbit with a wonderful personality. She is very affectionate, enjoys being held, and is full of character. She loves running, binkying, exploring and generally keeping herself busy! She can be quite a confident rabbit, so we feel she would likely be best suited to being bonded with a more submissive male rabbit.
Flora currently lives outdoors in a large converted shed, but she has also previously lived indoors and adapted very well. She could therefore be suitable as either a house rabbit or an outdoor rabbit, provided she has a spacious, secure and well-insulated accommodation with plenty of room to exercise and explore.
Finding the right home is extremely important to us. We would like to see photos of her proposed accommodation and setup before rehoming to ensure it will meet her needs.
