🐾 Experienced Home Needed – Central Asian Shepherd × Rottweiler (1.5 Years) 🐾 We are looking for a very special forever home for our beautiful 1.5-year-old female Central Asian Shepherd × Rottweiler. This has been an incredibly difficult decision and is being made solely because we believe she would thrive in a home better suited to her needs. She is a loyal, intelligent and affectionate girl who forms strong bonds with her people. She loves spending time with her family, enjoys learning, and already knows a number of commands including sit, down, stay, paw and waiting for her release before taking food. She walks well on a slip lead and is crate trained. As a young guardian breed, she needs an experienced, confident owner who understands large, powerful dogs and is committed to continuing her training and providing clear boundaries. The positives: * ❤️ Very loyal and affectionate with her family. * 🧠 Intelligent and eager to learn. * 🎓 Knows basic commands (sit, down, stay, paw, spin, wait/free). * 🦮 Walks well on a slip lead. * 🏡 Crate trained. * ⚡ Active and enjoys walks and mental stimulation. * 🐱 Can live with cats. Things to be aware of: * She is not suitable for homes with children. * She can display sporadic resource guarding, particularly around high-value items such as bones or resting places, so an experienced owner who understands how to manage this is essential. * She has poor social skills with other dogs. She enjoys playing but can become overexcited, can be relentless, and does not always recognise when another dog wants to stop. For this reason, she would be best as the only dog, or with someone highly experienced in managing introductions and interactions. * Like many young guardian breeds, she needs ongoing training, structure and consistency to help her mature into a well-balanced adult. This is not a first-time dog or a dog for someone looking for an easy pet. She deserves an owner who understands the breed traits and is prepared to invest time into her. We are under no pressure to rehome her and will only consider homes that we genuinely believe are the right fit. Due to her size, energy levels and guardian breed traits, we have specific requirements for any potential home. We are looking for a property with a large, secure garden where she has plenty of space to exercise and relax safely. She will also need an owner who can commit to providing her with daily physical exercise, mental stimulation and ongoing training. She is not suited to being left for long periods or living a sedentary lifestyle. We appreciate these requirements may seem strict, but they are in place to ensure she has the happy, fulfilling life she deserves. Potential adopters will be carefully vetted. We will ask questions about your experience, lifestyle and home, and we will carry out a home visit before making any decision. She will not be going to the first person who enquires.
