Description

Jessie is a 2 year old spayed German Shepherd female from Working Lines who is seeking an Active home where she can be stimulated and enjoy her life. We bred Jessie so as responsible Breeders when her original placement fell through she has returned to us to find a new place in the world. Jessie is young and full of energy, so will need an active family, she would enjoy taking part in perhaps man-trailing, agility or similar hobbies to keep her mind active and give her a purpose. We would prefer that Jessie go to a home thats experienced with large breeds to ensure a good chance of a successful match. She is a very loving dog with a good level of obedience but we feel she will thrive best in a knowledgable home seeing as how she is still only young. She knows lots of basic commands and we can provide guidance on how to best continue her training and show her lead walking skills etc. She travels well in the car and is used to a crate so would happily crate if owners weren't home for small periods. Jessie has been microchipped and is up to date on all her vaccines, flea and worming treatment. She is also Kennel Club registered and has been SPAYED already so no need to worry on seasons. She is from health tested parents, and would be either DM Clear or Carrier status, so unlikely to be affected by Dm/CDRM in her lifetime on the testable inheritable gene. Jessie is exceptionally good in environmental skills, with no uncertainty shown in dark places or on shiny floors etc, she is sound on open staircases and will freely and actively search. Jessie was raised in a loving family home so would be fine around older dog savvy children, and is open and social towards people. She would do best as an only dog or potentially to pair with a male companion, she doesn't really tolerate small fluffies such as cats or rabbits very well owing to her prey drive. Jessie's Mum is still here with us, so she can be seen as well should any new prospective owners for Jessie wish to meet her mum. We are happy to provide ongoing support to Jessies new owners, and would ask new owners to sign the same contract that if they were unable to keep Jessie for any reason then she could be returned to ourselves as her breeders never end up in a rescue.
