Description

Two boys from a litter of 7. Born and reared in the Scottish Highlands, their original home. These robust and healthy little guys have been reared in my home, they are well socialised and handled. Lovely temperament, characterful, ready to grow into loving and loyal companions. Parents both Crufts qualified. Sire lives in N. Wales but visits to meet puppies with mum welcome. As these puppies are now old enough to leave, all paperwork, microchips and health checks are already done. For sale to suitable homes, help will be given to select the correct puppy for you and assistance with transport can be arranged if distance precludes visit. Skye Terriers are a Native Scottish breed now classed as vulnerable. Onlyc45 puppies were registered un UK in 2025. For further information on the breed please go to www.skyeterrierclub.org.uk. I am a breed enthusiast. I have 4 adult Skyes living with me on my croft in Caithness. These puppies are from my 2nd litter. (The previous one was in 2021). Also known as the Heavenly Breed, Skyes are medium sized dogs on short kegs with a beautiful flowing coat once mature. They are healthy, robust terriers the standard description is Long, Low and Level. They were originally used as working terriers in the highlands to go to ground after foxez and badgers. Their long coat serving as protection from being bitten. Today they attract a lot of attention due to their beautiful appearance and rarity.
