Description
Ozzy flew to a foster home last month and he's now ready to find his forever home.
He is 1 year old spaniel cross. He's neutered.
This is what his foster mum's say about him.
Ozzy is not just a gorgeous looking dog. He is sweet, playful, and very loving.
Ozzy loves his people, he will want to be close as much as he can, he loves attention, and will do anything for a belly rub.
As much as OZZY loves to have a run around with his buddy, he also loves to have a snooze with his humans, preferably on the same sofa, and at night, on the same bed!
Ozzy just loves to be around his best buddy, they play, run, and do nearly anything together!
Ozzy loves his food which makes him a perfect candidate for some quality training, he can now sit like a good boy, and is getting there with lead walking (he will pull to be with his friend!)
Ozzy is very excitable and jumps up when he wants you to acknowledge his presence, he can also be jealous when his friend gets attention and will get right up in there with the action! We have been trying to train this jealousy out of him but haven’t had him for long enough yet!
Ozzys recall is impressive, we can trust that we can let him off and with a call of his name he will be back, and even without his name he will often come to check in with his humans (maybe he just wants a treat!)
Ozzy struggles in the car for long distances, with some excessive drooling and sickness at times, this I feel again could be worked on with time and patience.
OZZY is house trained, has not had an accident with us at all, and can be left in the house alone (with canine friend) for 3 or more hours (we haven’t needed to test longer)
Ozzy loves a soft toy to destroy, he will take out the insides and/or play tug of war with his canine friend.
Ozzy seems to be scared of cats and thus barks and can get quite stressed around them.
